COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We are members of Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU). BVU strengthens nonprofits by involving volunteers from the community; engaging hundreds of business executives and professionals on non-profit boards of directors; and providing leading-edge board and management consulting and training services for nonprofits.
Each year, C&P sends a selected employee to BVU’s Volunteer Trustee Institute where the person is trained and placed on a non-profit Board.
In addition, we believe in supporting the communities where we do business.

Race for the Cure

- National Multiple Sclerosis Society - MS Walk
Collect donations, prepare deposit tickets and log MS Walk activity
- Accounting for Kids Day
Play an accounting/finance related game with students at various
local elementary schools
- MS 150 Pedal to the Point Bike Tour
Pledge reconciliations and invoicing of bike tour donations
- New Avenues to Independence, Inc.
Campus beautification for group homes
- Akron Children's Hospital Change Bandit Drive
Collection of loose change to benefit the Akron Children's
Hospital
- March of Dimes – Cleveland Star Chefs
Work at the auction and provide general support for
the event
- Holy Redeemer Senior Citizen Center
Prepare and serve a hot meal to the elderly
