Requirements
Audit
Qualified candidates for the Auditor position will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, minimum GPA of 3.0, entry level to 10 years of experience, public accounting background preferred, and a CPA or CPA candidate.
Experienced Auditor Responsibilities
- Supervise audit and review engagement teams in multiple industries
- Strong understanding of FASB and AICPA accounting guidance
- Demonstrate understanding of auditing concepts
- Mentor, manage, and develop staff
- Provide effective client service
Entry Level Auditor Responsibilities
- Participate in audit and review engagement teams in multiple industries
- Be familiar with FASB and AICPA accounting guidance
- Manage multiple audit tasks
- Provide effective client service
Tax
A successful tax candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and a CPA (or desire to pursue), 3-7 years experience in federal, state and local tax compliance, planning and research. In addition, candidates need solid analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in all aspects of client engagements including tax planning, general compliance and client meetings for both companies and individuals
- Ability to complete research independently to assist in tax planning and compliance
- Manage, develop and mentor other members of the department
- Work with taxing authorities regarding notices, tax audits and client correspondences
