Staff Accountant – Tax (experienced)
Ciuni & Panichi, Inc., fourteen time recipient of Northeast Ohio NorthCoast 99 award, is a regional accounting firm located in Beachwood, Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant. Duties of Position:
• The Experienced Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns of varying complexity.
• The successful candidate in this position will identify and recommend tax strategies that better position the client through a deep understanding of tax law.
• Additionally, candidate must possess strong communications skills and a professional demeanor.
• Moreover, the Experienced Tax Accountant position serves in a subject matter expert for junior staff and offers an outstanding opportunity for leadership and career advancement.
• Work with confidential client matters; requires ability to keep matters confidential
• Becomes familiar with the contents of various Firm manuals
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements:
• Candidates must possess the ability to stay positive and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication
• Desire to work in a team setting
• Demonstrated ability to develop new and existing client relationships.
• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience in Tax
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
• Have an active CPA license
• Must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs, and State Society
• Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting and tax software programs
• Work overtime as needed
