Senior Accountant – Tax
The Senior Accountant – Tax, is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns of varying complexity. The successful candidate in this position will identify and recommend tax strategies that better position the client through his or her deep understanding of tax law. Additionally, candidate must possess strong communications skills and a professional demeanor. Moreover, the Senior Accountant – Tax, position serves in a training position for junior staff and offers an outstanding opportunity for leadership and career advancement.
Candidates must be proficient in Excel and Word, and possess the ability to stay positive and work in a fast-paced environment. Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, desire to work in a team setting, and demonstrated ability to develop new and existing client relationships.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience in the Tax Compliance and Planning Areas; hold an active CPA license, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
