Tax Manager
Due to recent growth in the firm Ciuni & Panichi is looking to hire an experienced Tax Manager. The Tax Manager is responsible for larger more complex tax projects and may manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tax engagements including review of tax returns of varying complexity
- Tax planning including technical tax research and compliance
- Client communication and management of multiple deadlines
- Coaching of staff and seniors and be a knowledge leader within the firm
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license or JD required
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
- Willingness and ability to create and cultivate relationships with clients to meet or exceed their expectations
- Technology skills including those required to be proficient with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 5 to 10 years of public accounting experience
- Must possess a professional demeanor with the desire to be a team player
